"Feel nice and solid. These remotes were way easier to program than I thought. Unlock the car, keep driver's door open, cycle key off to run (not engaging the starter) 8 times very quickly, on the 8th time leave in run position, door locks will lock and unlock automatically, press a button on the remote, the doors locks will cycle again, press a button on the second remote, doors locks cycle again, turn the key off, you are done. The only trick is you have to program them both in the same go. If you do one and then repeat the whole process on the second, then the first becomes "unprogrammed"."

"Awesome! I ordered this product arrived in 2 days ( prime qualified) and programming was simple. I have an 2005 Ford F-150 which had no key fobs when I purchased. "These two fobs worked perfectly. They replaced the original ones that came with my '99 Ford Expedition. The original ones worked fine, but the plastic loops broke, so I couldn't attach them to my key ring.
Programming was a breeze. For my particular make and model, I turned the key from off to run 8 times within 10 seconds. This puts your vehicle in programming mode. After the 8th tun of the key the door locks automatically actuate, giving you an audible indication that you're in programming mode.
Once in the programming mode you hold down the lock button on any both of the key remotes, one at a time. Again the locks will automatically cycle , letting you know the programming worked.
The plastic case and buttons are nearly identical to my original remotes, and they come with new batteries pre-installed."

"I read all of the reviews before I purchased. I said the reviews had to be bogus. They can not be that bad. So I purchased because I needed a remote to replace a lost remote. The price was right. $90 cheaper than ford and you get 2 remotes instead of 1. Do not believe the range problem that you see on most of the other reviews. I tested side by side with my factory remot. The both operaterd up to a maximum range of 8-85 feet. So if they are reporting the range not good. Maybe not but it is as good as my original ford remote. So the range is just not good with the factory remote either. Works great for me. Easy to program. Took less than 60 seconds and all 2 remotes were programmed. Instructions for programming were included."
